And that is some 13 years since it left Harold Hill Essex in a rolling chassis state ..
Remarkable to me to see how little things i remember so clearly like the reflective rear number plate..Don`t think you can obtain that type anymore as i tried years ago for the Cortina..
Good show this Keith.
Looking through "You Tube" for TVR Vixen there are so many of them on there..The value started to go up due to the HSCC sports car series of Motorsport..Wonder how many are in lock ups like WFD was in my ownership?
Thing to do is to visit TVR show days i guess but that is difficult with my two dogs at present as they cannot be left for long and one is a lot of grief travelling..

Damn phone has turned picture up again. No tag visable to turn it around either.
Picked it up yesterday during a meeting with the management of the business centre where i had Llewellyn Imp Motorsport..

I have the original steering rack which i know is in good condition albiet partky dismantled for an internet enquiry over a Ginetta G15.For some reason i used a Triumph 2500pi saloon rack when i was converting to the Zodiac engine..
Not sure if that is what is still on WFD but you are welcome to the original as it is of no use to me..
Think the source is from the Herald or Vitesse..

Please feel free to visit my other facebook site Llewellyn Imp Motorsport which will in a hickity pickity way will explain my background....Photo section is the easiest way to understand..
Things came to an end last October and i am hoping to find an affordable premises again to finish my personal vehicles

The Cortina was my late Father`s who died in 1996 ,( or rather our family car).. Which was the last time it went on its own steam down the road.
I was 13 when we collected it from Silcock and Collins depot at Dagenham in 1965..
My Father was a FoMoCo man true and true..It didn`t go down well when i fell in love with Hillman Imps at 17 and bought my first car
a 1964 Singer Chamois Mk 1 around 1969..Later to be modified but never raced into a Special saloon and eventually sold with regret around 1977..

Needless to say the Cortina is like a vehicle brother to me now and although i should pass it on for someone to make better use of i cannot make that decision ..

Like yourself i am still coming around again full circle of many times and at 67 still havn`t given up on a Motorsport quest..

TVR Vixen S2 WFD 400H was just one of many distractions along the decades that`s all..

Sure i nearly bought one of those models once..

Must be loads of enthusiasts doing work on their Vixens at present..
How about posting yours on this page for me to get a feel good factor over..

Stumbled on a chap who seems to have a beautiful metalic Grantura that he competes within HSCC but i cannot find it now..
Has all sorts of other TVR`s in his stable also..

I think going back to early days of my youth i came across adverts or pictures of a TVR Vixen / Tuscan in Orange and wowed at the marque ..
So when i saw WFD parked near Brentwood Station ,Essex i just had to have it even though i had purchased the Mason Stiletto..

This was after i sold all the parts off and the body / chassis was awaiting to be transported to its new owner..
That was the second time after 25 years that i had re purchased and then had to sell again..Due again to my sons and i Karting activities this time
