Thinking about it only a year i reckon..
In between Motorsport with the Mason Stiletto..
Remember using it that summer and doing silly speeds through corners in it..
One evening i pulled up at a junction and the trunnion /upright broke..I did a fast corner at 70 mph the previous day..
Must have been 1981 when i started going to the TEAC premises at Southend on Sea and the inner screen was iced up regular...
Then i had the inspiration to install the Essex V6 and overdrive gearbox..
That was where the demise came in ..

My oh My you must be so happy and proud..
Have sound on messenger when turned on and it sounds glorious..Till the laptop gives a loud buzz which continues unless i pull the plug and eject the battery..
Have had to do that twice so i am staying on hear to view now..
Nice photography with a steady hand going around the Vixen..

I could just use the body and make up four miniature axle stands in keeping with my fleet of motor vehicles.

Wow what a picture..The light brings out the best of the orange paintwork ..
The 3/4 angle shows the gorgeous curves at its best..
Did Keith know you were taking the picture?

Yes i have flashbacks with the memories like where i took it to a pub and backed into a parking space,,When i came out someone had given it a kicking..
There is a also gruesome tale connected to where it was parked up outside that shared accommodation house but not motor vehicle related..
I will give you the story some time if you wish but not on here..

That is nice of you to say so Samolt..

Hope Keith can keep up information of its progress..

With the original 1600 x flow WFD had an awful ride at 30 -40 mph but beyond that it became fine and did the handling as one would expect..I guess with the extra weight of the V6 the sprung weight stops it bouncing..

Have you had any thoughts of setting it up suspension wise and the tyre choice..

Has anyone had any experience of replica Dunlop SP Sports which seemed to be the favourite choice in period if i remember right.

My another beauty ..The side slats rather than the Mk 4 Zodiac type really make the side view hairy to my mind..

With recent events regarding the Imp scene i really think i should have taken the Vixen route except in the way of the race Stiletto..
In the 1980`s days back then i attended a couple of events with the local TVR set..Although i went with the Avenger Tiger i had it was so much more my scene ar the time..
Only takes a serious lotto win now though to reunite my small farm with outbuildings and start getting stuck into my ambitions..

Yes i had two garages at that place since i was about eighteen in Elm Park ,Essex..My first ever car evolved from there from standard imp to special saloon.

Decided to bring the WFD closer to home at the time in Harold Hill..Surprisingly it was safer there than Elm Park in the end as that row of garages were gradually being burnt out by vandals
