New TVR still under wraps! (Vol. 2)
Discussion
if you look at the article it isn't dated, but then if you look in your url bar you see the following:-
http://www.bqlive.co.uk/manufacturing/2018/01/17/
so isn't this dated 17/1/18 - in which case it's old news.

January 2018...Welsh Government under impression all going well and funded.

The article is dated and the poster mentions it in his post.
It seems to me in January 2018 at the very least new TVR was messaging that all was good for preproduction. Consequently, on that basis the only complication for production was the factory, the car by now should be ready to be produced...and is it?
As regards the factory did new TVR not say they could start production in advance of the factory in a pop up facility next door to the new factory?
This all seems to be what New TVR beleived.....so what has changed?

I was just telling my wife, who was a real supporter of the new Griffith after seeing it at the depositors' reveal presentation, that there have been no updates from Les for 6 months or so. She asked if anybody had emailed him on his "dear Les" email address to ask what is going on? Seems like an obvious thing to do now she's said it. Does any deposit holder fancy giving it a try and reporting back?

Someone said they had a while ago but wouldn’t share the info as we were all too negative. Yes it seems odd that someone fed up of negativity, sought out and received information that showed everything was on track, but then refused to share it to prove everything was on track and squash any doubt, but there you go.

Although, to be technically correct, the last bigger update was received 5th of March and there was also a short notice about the contractor decision on the 10th of June, so almost exactly 2 months ago. Not satisfactory though.

If you are thinking of me... there wasn’t much to share.. but I also lost patience with the people here, as any info good or bad was picked to death by keyboard warriors with axes to grind.. I’ve pulled my 2nd deposit.. no need to have it as LEplaces are now available.. I’ve left my £2.5k deposit in on the off chance it may happen.. don’t care if I lose it, just a bet. My risk, however foolish. Just don’t careYes it seems odd that someone fed up of negativity, sought out and received information that showed everything was on track, but then refused to share it to prove everything was on track and squash any doubt, but there you go.

Tough environment to operate in. Advanced players might add some climate change for a more intense and challenging gameplay experience.
Also totally lost track of Aston Martins share price. That's a whopping 70+% loss in less than a year. Truly ugly.

It was over hyped. Within days of flotation it was dropping. Trying to double production numbers on a luxury car when China is in slowdown seems over ambitious now...

Yep, gazillion eyeballs constantly hovering above them. And next earnings-announcement date always in sight. Has killed the fun for quite a few companies yet.https://www.theguardian.com/business/nils-pratley-...

Accounts were filed last June. Be interesting to see this years.
I don’t understand their previous filings ie £7m of debtors. Neat trick - absent consolidation, makes the parent look balance sheet positive...
