If it is the candy red one you are talking about, then "requires work" is one way of putting it.

A lot of work is another.
Or a hell of a lot of work is another.

As I said I've not seen it recently, am I right in saying its suffering body cracking?
I was told that on this conversion genuine sagaris panel were used and some of the joints have cracked.
What issues have you guys noted?
For obvious reasons I have an interest in your observations.
Pm if you'd rather
Darren

Dropped you a note re my observations. This particular car was designed for doing donuts and not to be a finely finished road car afaik.

Amen to that tongue out

Not something to take on without serious, very serious consideration.

That's a pic I haven't seen, the parts are fabricated by plasticman (Dave Hillis) he takes moulds from original panels.
It's worth baring in mind that he is able to supply panels for most of the TVR range and they are of a very high quality, as you probably saw ?
If you happen to have anymore pics of the car I'd be grateful if you could post them up.
Cheers
Darren
That was the only picture I took I'm afraid. The fact that I failed to notice it was anything other than a standard/original Sag is testament to the quality of the bodywork. Otherwise I'd have taken a few more photos.

I would also be very interested in your thoughts if you don't mind. From the pics it looks nice!

Not much to say. IMHO it needs cash spent to make it worth considering eg needs gaps, paint, interior and engine sorted afaik

Looking good Darren, any orange based colour is the right colour for the sag and it's the ultimate sag now the roof comes off...it's what TVR are about IMHO

Having a blank canvas is actually quite daunting! Dozens of colours crossed my mind but I kept coming back
To Arancio ..... Guess that means it was the right one :-)

Dave you'll be pleased to hear that Claire is coming along to keep an eye on you!
I've told her you're a bad influence :-)

... apart from not being a Sag of course!

Can you tell I'm planning on getting an original one? smile

Gotta say, though, that I LOVE the arancio pearl and you are doing something very similar with this project to what I'd do for a long-term keeper. In fact I'm tempted to do that alongside the "original"; and it would be a Sagamora LS7 (but ideally with a convertible roof that doesn't require a panel to muck up the boot space!). Your colour would be one of the ones at the top of my list.
