Now , read this to the end before throwing the toys..(not a TVR bash at all)

driving home one lovely sunny day in cerbera, loving life to the full, found myself on the london oribal car park, sitting patiently at the very foot of the dartford briged, gridlock... noticed that the aircon light had popped back out of the dash so just slipped my hand unde the dash to pop it back in , next thing I know , engine stalls, OK, done that before clutch too high not enough rev etc...tried to restart , nothing, try again , nothing...oh Sh1t....traffic in font starts to move on, try again ....nothing,...getting a bit concerned now as traffic behind looking fidgity(sp?)....checked ECU key look fine, ...ended up having to push the car accross 5 lanes of traffic into bridgfe control, sporting a fine shade of crimson all the way ....called garage they said are you sure you didnt tougch ECu key said looks fine to me, so turned fully off then fully on and , hey presto huston we have ignition....must have just nudged it.....

very embarressing moment, brough a few sympathetic gestures from other drivers....? but nothing really wrong with the car, just wish they would move that bloody key switch, or put a safty on it or something ...oh well live and learn.... funny looking back on it...even though it has 5.30pm on a friday...

Wait for December's Sprint for more info/pix...
Indeed and they DIDN'T mention that 2 x Porsches broke down IFIRC? Rich...

nothing beats what i saw on the motorway a month back ..... wait for it, broken down chimera, on top of broken down Henley Heritage TVR pick up truck on back of AA lorry (now that would have been a photo)

Bennno

The TVR was probably just going for a service and paying £120 to be picked up.

Indeed - Benno obviously knows full well that TVR's are often collected by for service but then why let that spoil the chance of a quick joke Rich...

Bennno - you making arrangements to get your Furrarri serviced at your local Vauxhall dealership yet ? Hear that the Fiat buyout by GM is just around the corner.
Ha! Can't imagine Schumacher being happy in a Corsa as his F1 team manufacturers run around.....

None of my TVR's has ever broken down... a few have been the victim of rear enders (Ben & Neil) fear for their jobs every Monday...

Nice handle, have you actually ever killed a chimaera?

I think some one else is having a laff with metamophosing web handles with respect to "peter wheeler too", but I might be wrong.
