Why can't he just hold his hands up and say "sorry guys I cocked it up" then he can bugger off

Holy Moly... It goes on and on and on..

I have to say actions speak louder than words.. All this 'I'm gonna do this.. I'm gonna do that' publicity is pretty pointless to be honest as i'm sure even the general public are getting a bit bored of hearing one plan after another..

Build some cars and then get back to me...

What is he on? It'd be great to see TVR pumping out cars in the £25-50k bracket with a big engine, simple design, and good performance. What's the point of challenging the Veyron?

For F*** sake business-boy, we don't care that you've lost the most money. We don't want a Veyron beater, we want production to continue, with slightly better build quality, and the usual fantastic sounds/performance/looks.

How quickly a "son of Russia" has learnt the dirtiest tricks of the face of unacceptable capitalism.
I hasten to add I am no communist & as good an advocate of the capitalist economy as anyone but NS's strategies make you wonder how close to the law he has sailed- not forgetting the employees that he has shown a blatant disregard for. But then look at family history & how Russia has treated its people over years.
Disgraceful.
[small] Any remaining dealers out there will have some dilemmas to face in terms of their need to keep their own businesses going ..but what faith can they have in him? Feel sorry for them.

So hold on, let me get this straight.

St Nic still owns the company and rights to the TVR brand name. He has essentially flogged to two Americans a licence to build, sell and promote TVRs in the US for £10m? These are the same TVRs that do not have a production base, no design team and no employees anywhere in the world?

The boy is good ill give him that.

St. Nic though, if yer reading, take a hint, the same trick does not work twice and if you try it the Feds will nail you.

Really, what is the point in doing that?

As has been said, what we want is what TVR stood for once. Lightweight, powerful and afordable. Those of us that started with a more humble car aspired to a new T350/Tamora/Tuscan.

Personally, I'm waiting to see what Ginetta do with the new G50.

Exactly!
Been reading up on TVRs history, and I know that TVR has been through some bad patches before, but atleast the company has stayed on british soil during those turbulent times, and retained its core values and identity during the various regime changes,Nikolai hasnt really grasped wot makes TVR appealing, this time it seems like the end, i hope not tho i want TVR to rebound back like it has done before.

Anyone take an educated guess at how much the Veyron has cost VW, all-in? No doubt it can be done somewhat cheaper if you go about it intelligently and single-mindedly (well, that's Nik out then hehe) - but erm, let's hope for Smolenski's sake his dad has deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep pockets...

I seem to recall the Veyron cost £5 million per car to develop.

His main concern, should be the "Krankies" under cutting him with a faster model.
