My brother (2 days after delivery) and my Fiance(18month after deliv.) both spun in wet and crashed my S2000, brother managed it on a straight road - S' is tail happy (reason I chose it) but I think it was mostly down to driver error. I never personally spun it during my many slideways corners in the wet and dry. However I learned the ropes in rear wheel drive cars such as spitfire, elan and erm... carlton.

Used to love doing full power change from 1st to 2nd (9,000rpm) in wet and getting a nice big side step!

S2000 can definitely be used as an everyday car but still has an edge when you want it.

Did need a new gearbox (early production prob. heard of a few with same fault) and a couple of electrical glitches. Never used any oil after run in tho, and right to the end oil stayed honey coloured, which is something I've not seen before.

Not driven an S2000, but I have to say that having driven an old Integra R type the VTEC engine is just about one of the most whizz-bang units ever made.

As a bit of a closet environmentalist I reckon that these smaller, advanced, nippy engines have to be the responsible way forward.

Now - excuse me, the sun is shining and I'm taking the 4.0L stone-age technology engined V8 Chimaera out for a spin.
