Anyway he has been asked a direct question so we can now wait in anticipation ad infinitum for the definitive answer.

Hi there Mr/Ms Autodesign, I'm going to have to correct you on a few things here: "Mr Helicopter" in fact owns the helicopter G-LIKK and was a cash purchase. How about you car "owners", I suspect they are the ones probably on lease? The reason there is a company GLIKK is because the heli is available for self fly hire and for charter. Perhaps the reason you see the circular flights are down to the helicopter lessons you see it being used for at Goodwood. I'm sure if you took the time to look at his social media accounts on instagram and facebook you'd see it is actually flown by himself quite a fair bit, I'm assuming your premium Flightradar free trial has expired because otherwise you would have known this.
Interested to know where you gained your information for him being a director of unsuccessful companies? He has in fact owned and managed several successful companies even selling one to multibillion dollar US corporation. So tbh, what I find utterly bizarre is that you guys have come on here and made multiple assumptions about someone you obviously know nothing about. Shame on you. You know, you could even take the time to ask him yourself as I'm sure if you DM him on his social media he will be more than happy to answer directly any questions you may have - helicopters, business or other!

What is the relevance of the helicopter? It was bought secondhand. It is worth about £600,000. It is operated by a charter company, so it's a business asset really. It's not someone's personal transport, which might indicate someone's wealth or status. It was bought to make money from by renting it out.
If you had bothered to read previous posts, you would have found that 'Mr Helicopter' joined TVR as a director back in March and immediately promised lots of updates. He also promised to give depositors and supporters a free flight in his helicopter from Surrey to the factory in Wales for them to have a guided tour and gave a secretary's email address at TVR for them to book their places. It is or was all on TVR's Facebook page in March.
He has promised lots but delivered nothing.

I don't think he personally fell short on those promises intentionally. Looks more like he was sort of called back.

@ LucyP

This was the reply that lifted the helicopter off the ground.

"Richard Smith Richard Kitchen You Richard have just won yourself a ride in my helicopter to Wales - message Liz.satchell@tvr.co.uk with your details"

He was only offering a ride on his chopper to the one person that stuck his tongue right down the back of his trousers (and happens to have a TVR related business)

Please lets not forget that the entire reason to own a TVR is to make small children tug on their dads shirt, point and shout "siKORsky" as you drive past!

I think he started off with the right intentions as you say. But he should be man enough to stand up and say 'look guys, we've got a number of issues to deal with that are holding us back just now so I cannot promise anything yet.'

I don’t know if it was Richard Smith himself picking a user name off some dorris’s luggage sat opposite him, or some other one post peanut acting on his behalf, but it is pure comedy gold.

I wonder if he realised we were all going to point and pish our selves at that little effort.

The world for us is on a downhill slide that just keeps picking up pace... our so called government is more than useless and has made us the laughing stock of the whole planet. The Southern Hemisphere has retained the RU World Cup, and Aston Martin will be very lucky to survive their current financial circumstances. I still have a fuel leak on my Chimaera, and I’ve just spent a small fortune on the Vantage with new tyres, discs, and pads. What’s worse, my local Waitrose has no Merguez sausages although I did get fresh figs and Manchego cheese this afternoon. I’ll be resuming the helicopter flying lessons in the Spring, however life really is crap at the moment.
