The trouble is now having a good reason, being able to and having the weather to enjoy the car. My Boxster has been under a cover in the garage for about six weeks!

A drive out on a lovely fresh sunny morning like today during winter is a motoring must which is why we should never sorn them. And they are faster in the brisk air. Flying jacket and roof off it’s what dreams are made of for some. Adventure

This year has not encouraged any fun so no wonder many are tucked away. Even FB had only a few tales of drives in the Tvr with the usual going for milk and provisions excuse now a fully valid one. frown
Fingers crossed we are not so subdued come next summer. thumbup

How about a Honda S2000 LS7 - buy an American conversion kit and find an installer near you plus the car.
Awesome compact V8 powered 2 seater reliable sports car.
To me, this is the perfect solution. American muscle V8 and with all its character in a small right hand drive car for UK roads. Old Honda reliability to boot. Just need to find a donor car in good enough condition and not rusted through.

The weather has been so rubbish!

Rubbish yesterday, rubbish again today and tomorrow it seems we will have sleet and rain again. After that we may have a few nice cold days but it seems without sunshine down south!

Unfortunately Mac's one sailed and went so a different car. Some elements for me are better....some I'll never know as never saw or drove Mac's. Maybe it worked out for the better.....maybe not.....I'll never know. However I am really happy so that is all that matters and I'm no longer looking back frustrated I missed out. Which is great 😀

Thanks. Yes, half of the attraction for me was the colour. Rolex Blue. The car isn't stock so very different to my red 500 that will be up for sale shortly which is very much stock.

Many won't like the wheels or the seats but I actually don't mind them at all. As a modified Chimaera I guess it allows more customisation from stock and almost demands it in a way.

What a great looking Chimaera!

Rolex Blue is such a beautiful colour. Looks like Tuscan seats?

For actually using, they do benefit from improvements, how many people would choose original over upgraded springs and shocks, for example? No need to justfy the improvements!
