New TVR still under wraps! (Vol. 3)

Careful there OW.. TS thinks Astons are boring
Context Sarney, context. If it was the same as a TVR you wouldn't own both would you?And a Sagaris, lovely as it is, is two cylinders short of a proper car. V12V is a lovely lovely car, but not the same league. It's one above.

Each to their own. The C8 is a current sports/supercar. The V12V is an old fashioned GT. The Sagaris was a typical TVR.
Am not a huge fan of the sag or the AM teeny weeny cars but the C8 is a horrible contraption. I saw one the other day - it’s trying far too hard. Looks like a Ferrari made with balsa wood. LucyP said:

Yeah was thinking that. C7 will do.
Or just buy a C8 and leave it alone. RHD launch edition available in the UK shortly this year, fully loaded at £82K.Wonder if the C8 will cause any deposits to be reclaimed after 5 years languishing in TVR's pocket.
The C8 available as RHD cars seem to sell very quickly. There's only one for sale on A/T, 2 years old and £95k and it's LHD. A dealer that used to specialise Japanese sports cars including imports but not so much now:

ETA: Ian Allan Motors in Surrey are the importer and a new one in RHD is about the same if you have to pay VAT. Depending on options that is:

Slightly full circle, as it was mentioned about 5 yards back, but if I:
a) had the money (under £80k) and
b) was in the market for a brand new British 2 seater sports car
I would be trotting straight off to my mearest Lotus dealer to put my deposit down (I am a pigeon in disguise) on a Lotus Emira.
But I a) don't and I'm b) not, so the above is irrelevant.

Put it down on the 4 cylinder version, and save some money. The V6 has no character. Don't option the sports suspension in the UK as it's too stiff, and don't ever put anything in the boot behind the engine, except for a takeaway that you want to be even more cooked when you got home, than it was when you left the takeaway!

This would be my personal choice.
Forget the graphics of course. A Boxster Spyder.
About 320 BHP and screaming flat 6.
Sticks to the road like glue and in man maths, these have only gone up in price.
I should have put in the picture! What a numpty.Forget the graphics of course. A Boxster Spyder.

However it’s a 991 Speedster. A smidge over 500bhp with the GT3 engine, manual only and costs from £300k upwards.

Somewhere to keep your takeaway hot - that's a definite bonus!!Definitely beats melting your chocolate biscuits in the boot of a Chimaera.
Been there, done that, won't do it again.
One 8 pack of molten Kit Kats in the bin at Cadwell Park.

My Boxster S went brilliantly around Cadwell with its 305 bhp, I can’t imagine how good this one must be…
To keep on topic of TVR’s.
I stripped the front end of my Boxster and renewed both the air-conditioning condenser radiators today. On assembly, I noticed one of the fasteners missing in the wheel well. I wondered how I could get over this huge misfortune and then remembered my last 15 years of TVR ownership. I selected a suitably sized cable tie and in true TVR style solved the problem.
