The trouble for me is that our 'friend', the owner of TVR, has a serious credibility issue with all his plans to date, amounting to nowt.

It has an air of 'playing at it' and no real genuine focus to get TVR owners (old and potential) on side.

TVR in the present day, will remain still-born until new blood is at the helm, and even then it would be tricky.

Evey once in a while someone will come along, kick the corpse and say, "It moved! It's alive!"
Just like Lea Francis, Jensen, Marcos, etc, etc...

I would hazard that it is NS at the top supplying the branding and rights etc and underneath it is 100% Power with the Belgian guys acting as continental sales and servicing.
what I understood from the 'Belgian guys' is that is 100% Power....

Yes, that is my understanding, but Power can't even use the term TVR Power or TVR without permission from NS and NS will be taking a fee for their use and that of the moulds etc. Plus, the website would appear to indicate that it is owned and managed by Maubdib, NS' holding company.

I'm assuming that the whole show will be physically run by Dom at Power and that it has been his brainchild.

I really hope it works but the website looks so Mickey Mouse re spelling and emails etc and other firms in the UK such as Surface and Design have more history and skill in re-furbing cars. I do suspect it is aimed at the non UK market predominantly though.

The web site looks like some young teenager 'having a go at it'.

That said, the company was run pretty much the same way...

Well, i guess NS must have spent all his money on buying the company and ruining the name, and come up with the world's sttest website with the loose change he's got left to pay for one...!

Yup, just ordered 3 of them...

Now, just need to go and rob a few banks... ideashoot

The moral of this story is to keep hold of your "current model" cars because they are a hell of a lot cheaper than the newer ones even if you up the price by 20k or so. As such, people will probably want the used ones, not the new ones.
