Still registered as a Tuscan. See the screen shot above. What a bunch of jokers.
Thanks, hadn't seen thatWould modifications like this alter the vehicles handling?
In which case the vehicle may be worth scrap value in its present state

Yes, I imagine he doesn't know the finer details of Tuscans/Sags/T350s etc. If it says Tuscan in the V5 then he's still being naughty. On the other hand if the V5 has been changed to Sagaris it would be hard to prove he's done anything wrong I think?
Still registered as a Tuscan. See the screen shot above. What a bunch of jokers. Indeed Iain. A little stop by the ph TVR myth busters and all’s well. Garage must love it

They are 5 miles from me,been in buisiness 10 years in various guises ,not got the best of reputations! If I remember correctly from 2013 when it was for sale a few people went to look at it at Britannia and the problem was the paint work wasn't in great shape (by that I mean chipped, scratched etc, not casting any doubt on the quailty of the original paint job which given Plasticman did the converison I am sure it was stunning) Candy Apple red being eye wateringly expensive it would be interesting to know if its been resprayed since then.

Interesting that in the 2009 thread the majority of contributors seemed to like the conversion.
It seems less so with the current thread, or is this because of the asking price / seller?
I really like the look of it, but see it as a £30k car rather than a £102k one.
The fact that it was being passed off as a Sag at £100k was putting a bit of dampener on things. It seems less so with the current thread, or is this because of the asking price / seller?

Then I looked at the other pics and it came clear from bothe the centre section of the exterior and all of the interior that it was in fact just a Tuscan. Seemed to me it was a misleading advert hence me posting it.
If it were genuine imho it’d be worth £100K+. As an honest Tuscan conversion I’d say more like £40K and that’s assuming it’s not a CAT C rebuild.
Why would you do any conversion on a pristine 5 year old car with less than 6,000 miles ?
Another problem with this car is that it's incorrectly registered as a PC (Petrol Car) and not a PLG . So it's emissions are recorded as 405 and will incur a higher tax .

When it was first sprayed candy apple red the finish was terrible. It might have been resprayed since then.
The finish of the car wasn’t great. Mainly because it wasn’t made to be a rod car but to be a stunt car to be viewed from a distance. Confirmed by Britannia cars.
It’s maybe 10 years since I last saw this car in the flesh but assuming the finish is the same, assuming it’s a cat car etc then I’d not want to pay more that £15k or so for it.

Isn't it illegal to advertise something as something different to what it is ?
A Tuscan Mk1 can't be advertised as a Sagaris under trades description act ?
Maybe Piston Heads gurus should be more careful about what is advertised on their site .
It is. Its an offence contrary to the Misrepresentation Act 1967. There are 2 types of misrepresentation - fraudulent and innocent. No prizes for guessing which one the seller would plead as he probably hasn't a clue about a targa Sag. A Tuscan Mk1 can't be advertised as a Sagaris under trades description act ?
