Are you sure it won't hurt to leave it, even if the green light doesn't come on?

BTW how is Grizzly these days?
Very good thank you Gerjo ! I had a wonderful driving tour to the South of France last year and I just keep enjoying it! Mind you, as you may have noticed from my profile, he has been joined by a rather older companion! RichB said:

I tested the Optimate with another battery and it went to green in 24h, so the charger is fine; I'll connect it to the Tuscan again.
Simon I used an accumate and cigar adaptor for 4 years before you got the car so I'd get one of those if I was you. In fact I never did bother using the permanent battery wire because the cigar adaptor was so convenient. I would have thrown in it with the car if you hadn't driven such a hard deal! Hope you are enjoying the T350.
I've just ordered two of those solar trickle chargers off ebay.
I had to leave my daily driver at work for 3 days, and had to jump start it once I cleaned off the 10 inches of snow.
So thought I'd see if a trickle charger would keep it topped up enough to make the little green ball reappear on the battery??
