Perhaps now is the time TVR should once again look to focus on building wind turbines

Over a week of silence, then a couple of pages going over the reasons for failure again, that have been debated many times. Even this thread is starting to feel like it has run its course, never mind the actual venture. When will new TVR officially be put out of its misery? Will it see 2023 out?
This thread can't have run it's course until the Marrow competition judging has taken place silly

What a load of. This whole sorry-arsed fantasy has made the TVR fraternity look really stupid for even believing any of the eyewash it to start with. I

even cheered a TVR sticker around Le Mans but that is all it was despite their ‘back at Le Mans’ - just a sticker.

If your having to contact the Welsh gov for advice on what’s going on surely that alone is proof Tvr have not answered these questions.
Your barking up the wrong tree expecting anything other than the response they have offered.

Tvr have singularly failed to offer any reasons for the failure to get any big investors which the project always needed as they never had the money required.
It’s never been a viable business plan.
Who honestly ever thought it was.

Yes and he's also Duckford's speech writer.

In the land of the Gods we are all now crawling around everywhere at 20mph due to these flawed idealists, (even the illegal electric scooters are flying past) no doubt that clown will use such minions as a barrier when the majority finally rebel and the stonings commence.

My ex wife had one of these muppets as a lodger many years ago, total beardy lentil eating pushbike warrior, I asked him once if we all start just riding bikes then how will they all actually get here from China! not a clue just looked at me dumb.

He is now high up in this inbred group of dreamers, coming up with all the nonsensical diktats being forced on the majority by the minority. Cycle lanes everywhere, squashing delivery truck, ambulances, buses and cars into one skinny lane, crawling along at a snails pace as a result. It take 5 mins to get through just one crossroads given the number of traffic lights for both the cars, the bikes and the pedestrians.

Problem is they have no viable opposition to get them finally kicked out.

Ebbw Vale seems to be jinxed, doesn't it?

The history of the Techboard factory, proposed to be TVR's new home, does not read well. It was another failure.

"The Tech-Board site was part of the biggest ever venture-capital backed greenfield manufacturing startup in British history in the early 1990s when £35M was raised. It took eight years to get into production and went through Receivership before it closed down."

Then the Welsh Govt gave the Circuit of Wales project for Ebbw Vale lots and lots of dosh but ended up £7.3 million out of pocket the taxpayers pocket. They fell for the claim that 6,000 jobs would be provided but a due diligence report found the reality was just 115. The race track would have been next door to the factory as in this mock up:

So far they have spent £10.9 million more taxpayers money on this factory which remains empty.

Not quite SNP spending disasters but heading in the right direction.

Pocket change in comparison to this disaster, not much further away.

How many more of these fantasy island initiatives have councils got going on draining tax payers money. Only this week we saw Thurrock had invested in solar farm bonds which have folded.

Time to remove this level of autonomy.

Meanwhile crappy electric cars are filling our streets. I was given a lift in an MG recently. How terrible - cheap interior. All the bells, no whistle. Can’t believe anyone buys such a pile of …..

I’m camping somewhere in Suffolk at the moment (I have no idea where - my carer organised it). When I get home I’ll have measure up GW. Mine looks quite big too.

Toyota are concentrating on hydrogen and say that electric is NOT the future. CEO announced last week that hydrogen from renewable was the way forward. If he is correct where does that leave TVR/Ensorcia's lithium plans?

I can't understand why villagers at Whitby on Wirral reject CADETs plan to make it a hydrogen village... CADET were going to replace/upgrade equipment to run on hydrogen ... If CADET want to use my village I'd be all for it ., after all I've got a nuclear fuel producers site 1/4 mile away ... so what's a few bangs !!! smile

PS They can convert my TVRs to hydrogen whilst they're at it flames

Shush otherwise TVR will be looking for even more grants to then dam further Welsh Valleys to harness the rare raw material required!
