Without a road car.. it’d be pretty pointless. As they’ve ridden that donkey and the moments been and gone.

The only way modern cars display at Goodwood is in the 'Earls Court Motor Show' area, which is intended to show 'cars of the future' (but is in fact for current manufacturers to show their cars), TVR did that last year so they won't be doing it again.

Pure speculation on my part, but I expect it'll be going up the hill at Goodwood FOS 2019.

Let's hope so although I am puzzled why they didn't attend the FoS this year.

Good news for "ze Germans":

September 11th - 15th - Automechanika in Frankfurt as a static display with our approved lubricants partner Motul

(From the noise-page on tvr.co.uk).

Here are also two longer videos from Beaulieu ( from the noise-page, too ):

This one driven by Les:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DgoS89jn5uI&fe...

And this one be Matthew Truelove ( i think he's the "professional" driver Les was referreing to in his latest update and i think he's also a major shareholder of TVR)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgDMFa0DSNE&fe...

Look at the slow-mo from 0:46 and especially the inside look of the return run ( starts at 1:00 ) !!! Leaving the looks-discussion aside for a second, this thing will be a blast to drive !!! Awesome !

Have you physically heard this thing run bullet? As in been beside it.

My old tuscan sounded like this...

https://youtu.be/TSlkKO-ERD0

My R8 v10 with capristo sounds like this

https://youtu.be/GxZEmLsewE8

The new Griffith sounds like a flock of pigeons going mad, like my old enduro bike as a kid.

They need to cross the banks. It sounds rubbish

Nope, not yet. You did if i remember correctly from one of your posts and were not that much impressed, were you ?

Edit: just checked the sounds of your two cars. Both impressive, absolutely nothing to object. Like the Tuscan a lot more than the Audi. But it's gotta be V8 for me, no other choice possible. From all the videos i've heard and after "calibrating" the TVR-sound with the ones i know in real-life, the TVR sounds great to me. They will not cross the banks, i think that was a design decision from the start off. I'm just afraid what we heard so far may not be the final sound as they probably still have to adjust it for sound-emission and noise approval.

Have heard the Capristos on the Vette, impressive.

For me, too. The Tuscan was screaming like a bat out of hell, but i want the thing it's flying away from. All the Lambos, Ferraris, Mercs et al, sound way too metallic and one-dimensional these days.

It’s still their marketing tool so it ought to be there to catch a few domestic and international deposits. Opportunity missed if it’s not

According to this article he was instrumental in the return of TVR to the UK and is a non exec director so that seems correct.

'professional driver' ??? erm, don't think so rolleyes

Of course...
The Griff sounds a whole lot better when revved really hard (and I have heard)....it is SUPER~LOUD..
I think you’ll be taken aback tbh..
Interesting to note they now refer to it as ‘prototype’..which strongly suggests that changes are in the pipe...

Agree absolutely...sounds truly awful to me .
I had a Coyote powered Mustang with Roush axlebacks and it sounded pretty superb .I was always being asked to rev it up for folk,so the Coyote engine can sound fantastic, sadly the Griffith got this badly wrong also in my book .There must be a way of improving the agricultural megafart of the current one.

The article says that! Hardly a 'professional' driver though, is he?

Guys, easy. I just put the "professional" in (in quotes!) to relate to Les' update where he was talking about the feedback of an experienced driver and point out that this is the one he was talking about. He seems to have driven a car or two.
