What I fear here is we have another hype filled paper car company that's just about there....but never there. I'd LOVE to be proved wrong and the positivity here is admirable but I just don't and can't share it.
Last time I asked him, Gordon Murray had 40+ people working on the TVR. I'll let you work out how much money that is costing. It would be madness to spend that money if you didn't think it would make it to market. Surely?GetCarter said:

It's bound to happen that people think this way - effectively a new company and all that, so every armchair powerfully built director type will be musing over what they would do differently. It's probably for that reason TVR are keeping it all close and probably more so as time gets nearer as they will know it will build up greater anticipation for the launch.
Good luck to 'em.
I just need to work out what to do with the spare £80k after buying the T350....

I have absolutely no idea whether the new TVR will be here, great, expensive, flop, or absent. All I can tell you is that GMD is working very hard on it as we speak.
What I would guess (and it's just my guess) is that assuming everything continues as is, that deliveries will not start arriving until the very end of 2017, poss spring 2018. I would add once again that that is my opinion, not GMs.

I can understand why they have gone V8 but it sounds a bit poo to my ears, I much prefer the sophisticated S6 sound.
Obviously everyone's different but I think that sounds pretty bloody epic to me.Max_Torque said:
