Running costs a huge factor for me and risk of out of warranty bills (or expensive warranty).

Heads up. Shmee150 video. Tim, Les and New Griff at TopCats TVR in 20 minutes time

Thanks fo the reply . Shame you never drove it . I agree the exhausts are great but I fear will cause heat issues . Out of interest did you sell your amg gtr as you no longer seem to mention it ? I cam so so close to buying one but came to the conclusion I would never use it on a track and the trusty rs Porsche always wins that battle
gosh.. you fear for heat issues.. well , do you not think. TVR and Gordon Murray Design are well aware of this. Have spoken extensively about this. And will make it work.. given all that Gordon Murray learnt doing the exact same type of side exhaust in his Mercedes McLaren SLR design and manufacture .. perhaps your fear is a little irrational?

IE... It is an obvious consideration from absolutely day one of the design decision for side exhausts.. ..not an oh gosh. We forgot about that moment. Thanks AutoDesign for pointing it out?!

That is nice and dropping!

I still prefer the aventador s though but I think the 720 will be much better value and in years to come, will be the better investment.

Let's see what Les creates first before my eyes wander too far smile

I'm online especially for this, but not there yet.

Maybe we should start a new topic "New Shmee video still under wraps!"

Anybody care to start the ball rolling with he needs better marketing or he's running out of money?

Some people are critical of the AM Vantage for having what looks like a generic tablet screen stuck on top of the dashboard. What is the opinion of the same thing in this car's interior.

Really good video. Looked and sounded great. Interesting to hear mention of facelifts by Les whilst they were driving, although I think it's fine as it is.

How long till Shmee supercharges his GT8.. that did sound pretty epic running up the road!

Why is this still a thing that gets brought up these days? Car electronics have so many functions that to have physical buttons and indicator lamps for everything is impractical. A screen is the only way to realistically deal with it. I’d be curious to know in your mind what a non generic screen or practical alternative solution looks like?

Excellent video, great content and it should answer a lot of the questions posted on here.

No mention of the Gordon Keeble lurking around in the background?!

Seeing how the sunlight hits the (tablet) screen in shmee's video it will impossible to see anything on it let alone hit a 'button' to change the settings of whatever is controlled by it...

Some pilots are critical of the Boeing 787 for having what look like too many generic tablet screens stuck on the dash. What is the opinion of the same thing in the Airbus A350?
