This is the start of a tribute car in honour of my best friend Tony Morgan. He died last year in his awesome jensen interceptor. We hope to have saved the supercharged 440 gearbox and axle. This SD1 we have both owned so there is a lot of history already. The car will be built with drag racing in mind but still road legal.

I remember the accident being mentioned, orange Jensen if I recall. Awesome tribute, needs a thread of its own

Very sad. I think I remember the Jensen. Was it a racing accident?

No. Tony was picking the car up from Mot. He had a heart attack in the car just after reversing out of the mot station. The car set off and hit a wall with no signs of braking.
