Meaning that the building has been sold, and the new owner is not going to sit on a wreck waiting to see if TVR ever sign a lease on it. The new owner is renovating it, and when it is ready it will either be sold on, or available for rent, and if it is the latter, and TVR are not in a position to sign, then they might lose it.

Well sleuthed. I wonder how that works with the money Wales had tied up in it with the TVR deal.
I'd take that with an enormous pinch of salt. The same guyat Knight Frank claimed TVR had actually bought the site in 2018!

Just waiting for Indeed to advertise the PR spokesman's job.... wink
Yes, thank you N7GTX, that was the most succinct report so far and is worthy of a PH lead article on its own clap.

Have we had this yet?

"LEADING Welsh aluminium fabricator Dudley’s Aluminium is celebrating after securing projects, with a combined worth of over £250,000, with two new clients.

The first project Dudley’s has secured is the TVR Showroom in Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent. TVR is a British manufacturer of high-end sports cars and will produce the Griffiths model at their new home in South Wales, committing to their vision of developing a sustainable automotive sector in the region."

Suspect ‘showroom’ should have read ‘factory’.

The article says their client is Jones Bros of Ebbow Vale not TVR, a subtle difference.

High end... wtf is ‘high end’ ?

Complete marketing bks... ‘high end’ what a sad sad expression...

Who believes this rubbish?

Makes my blood boil.. TVR is a brand name. It was bought and sold. The people who currently own the brand name don’t actually manufacture anything. Like nothing. Zilch. Nada.

Someone tell me what ‘high end’ is... if £90k is high end then what is £120k.. or £150k... or £200k or £70k... high end my arse...

So, how many years now? And here we still all are.. postulating.. guessing.. hoping... even believing maybe... waiting for the ‘high end’ TVR sports car we can see and buy....

I quite fancy a Maserati.. just the name does it for me smile

Jones will be the main contractor who pays them but it’s common to use the Employers name - but that’s the Welsh Govt or the current owner not TVR.

I hope they offer a ‘yellow daffodil’ option. My red rose Cerbera is great.
