What I can tell you is that if the new car makes an appearance the second hand price of saggys will fall off a cliff.
I would have predicted that as any new TVR price point moves up it will bring the older models with it. I can't see the price of Sags falling because there is a new model. That would suggest that people only own them as they are the most expensive TVR and will dump them to ensure they have the next car? Personally, I think that if the new car builds on where TVR left off then it'll boost Sagaris values considerably. DonkeyApple said:

I agree and I can see all late Speed Six Tvr values going up, I would think now is probably the time to buy and looking at how Sags are selling at the moment other people must agree,A T350/Tam looks a bargain to me, a standard low mileage car is definitely worth a punt.
Limited build numbers will keep prices climbing.

And why shouldn't the club get something for their members? It's not exactly a saving of any kind just a gesture from the company that reflects that the club had worked on its own since 2006 to look after the brand.
What exactly have the TVRCC done to look after the brand?or do you think it better they didn't exist?

I wouldn't say I'd prefer it if the TVRCC didn't exist. or do you think it better they didn't exist?
TVR stopped building cars in 2006 and plan to start again in 2017, the TVRCC haven't done anything between these times I would describe as looking after the brand. I've heard some club members saying how the club have 'kept the brand alive', they seem to overestimate themselves. The only person who has kept the brand alive is Les Edgar by buying it, the TVRCC have done nowt to help TVR exist.
So, how come I've seen him on the TVRCC club stand at the classic show at NEC more than once. If the guy who has bought it thought the TVRCC was insignificant why would he show up. He asked many of us our views. The only thing I see that the club could've done better would be to have bought it themselves, but that was never to happen. So, how could they have done better? Not picking a fight here but feel it's pointless to pick on what many see as an asset to keeping the TVR name 'alive'.

I'm not saying club could have done anything better but don't see that reason to claim they've 'looked after' or 'kept the brand alive'. I'm not picking a fight either, I've seen Les on the club stand too, how does that mean the club looked after the brand???The TVR car club do a lot of good work to promote TVR cars. Some of the work it does goes unrecognised. Could it get involved in remanufacture of parts that no longer exist and other things that are associated with bigger marque clubs? debatable.
I know some of the car club ROs could maybe have supported better by owning TVRs rather than German "toys"

I'm very excited about this tbh. I am seriously considering a deposit but am unsure if I want to strap myself up to what maybe 80k
The simple reason for being excited is:
Probable tvr styling, let's hope they get it right and it doesn't look too kit car.
Cosworth, need anyone say more
Gordon Murray: need anyone say more.
I really can see this being a modern day Tuscan/sag/350 etc. but a lot better......

Well I think I have made my feelings clear and as Margot Robbie doesn't seem to be prowling around my bedroom looks like I will be keeping my Sag. It ain't being dumped!harry henderson said:
The TVRCC may be a great club to be a member of if you already own a TVR but if you are just a fan or even a potential new owner then not too helpful. The ' if you're not a member you're not coming in' attitude really does put you off joining.
Why are you saying this Harry, have you a story to share with your Pheds fraternity? DonkeyApple said:

I'm a big fan of TVR's - I bought 4 of them including 3 new ones. I even bought the newest one I could when I moved to the USA as I couldn't bring my Sagaris.
What's happening here is nothing to do with TVR though, apart from the name. I could change my name to Jerry Garcia but I wouldn't be him, he's dead, just like TVR.
Got to say I am in agreement with this. What's happening here is nothing to do with TVR though, apart from the name. I could change my name to Jerry Garcia but I wouldn't be him, he's dead, just like TVR.
Wonder if I can get away with changing the wifes name to Margot Robbie?
Astons are still Astons. Rollers, Rollers. Porches, Porches. Bentleys, Bentleys etc.
A change of ownership, corporate structure or factory doesn't signify the end to a brand. It never did for TVR in the past either.

Never found that when I was a member, if anything quite the opposite if you've yet to get one with everyone advising you the one they have, be it Griff Chim etc is the to get....HarryW said:

I'm a newbie to TVRs having bought a Cerbera a few months back, my experience with everyone on here and owners at shows and meets has been extremely positive. The comradeship of TVR owners is fantastic and the help and advice has been spot on and greatly appreciated.
It's before you take the plunge and buy one that the website seems to be a bit unhelpful with things like shows and events etc. I imagined that they'd want to tell everyone about their events and invite everyone to join in and spend their money. There is an enormous amount of enthusiasm out there for the TVR brand especially from non owners who just like to admire and listen to the cars.
