No that was a custom job done by the previous owner to me..
The bodyshell was Brown..
Marigold exterior was supplied with black trim..
It springs back memories seeing that trim..My Irish Setter used to stand at the rear section of the centre bit and lean into the corners..
Do hope the 'TEAC & BARC' decals are still in the back window!

Just made another hole in my bank balance, bought an original alloy wheel to use as spare , as car came without one, wasn't cheap but we're do you find an original that someone is prepared to part with , so bit the bullet and bought it , now all I need is to paint it and fit a tyre. Anyone know of a tan cover for it or someone who can make one , I've seen a black one before on eBay . PS David I managed to find everything for the heater and with some very helpfull pictures off pistonheads I now know we're it all fits
Haha ..That probably is the one from.the car that existed when i had it..
I do know a previous owner sold the bumpers for over £600..I sourced that from ebay..
Amazing the rear heated screen wasn't sold off..
For myself i had a notion of doing that as my plans were to compete with WFD.
A perspex rear window was considered.
The spare wheel cover was black if i remember right.

Hi David not quite the one off car the guy who I bought it off said it was off his Tuscan that he spent a fortune restoring and sold at the wrong time , the wheel was the only part he had left, he regretted selling the car ,. As for the black cover there wasn't one at all with wfd400h , I might have to get one made in tan leather , not an issue for now lots of things before that, I have noticed that it has white side lights combined with white indicators that a period thing as front indicators are orange usually. Not bothered as next may it's mot exempt anyway.
Just another thought on the restoration theme , seems a shame that parts for these quite rare cars are so expensive , maybe that's why some of these cars are stripped To sell
as spares. There owners could not afford to restore them , as a pensioner I have struggled to find money to carry on the restoration of wfd400f I got a part time cleaning job in a garage to help. I was lucky as a vehicle technition since school at least I can do the majority of work myself , subject to health allowing. But I suppose the high prices that's on Even the most basic of classic cars. Now .means people will ask high prices for parts. I remember a lot of years ago ,think it was late eighties might be wrong the yuppy years classic cars hit the roof people spent fortunes restoring them taking them out of the price range for ordinary People. Some people lost a lot of money on the restored cars when the bottom fell out of the market. Can't see prices falling now though
