If I’d turned up in the old days with my latest trainers and said “ok Wacky, I know they look a bit odd and I’m not sure how I’m going to make them and don’t look at the midsole because I haven’t sourced it yet and those laces are wrong and I’m not sure which year you’re going to get them or what they’re going to cost but please give me 5 grand on the offchance that someday I may deliver.... oh and while you’re waiting for them I’m going to tell you nothing”.The last few weeks it's turned into a piss taking thread, surely we all want TVR to succeed don't we?

Just drove by David Seesings Instapage and saw this: seems to be a Opel GT redesign (nothing official i guess, maybe something just for fun or educational). At first i thought: woah, a better Griff. But after looking at it for less than a minute it became so obvious, that the Griff has been thought out way more thoroughly and actually has personality, while the GT mockup is becoming more generic by the minute. It looks like a car that Audi could put out and you would be bored before you left the dealers place.

New car tax.Apparently taxi drivers in Denmark could buy a new car tax free as a commercial vehicle, drive it around for 3 years then sell it on the open market for roughly what they paid for it with upwards of 300/400k kilometres on it, so effectively free motoring.
Cars in the UK are are quite cheap by comparison.

I had a few Dutch and Danish clients when I was chauffeuring and at the time my E Class had an on the road price of £35k ish. They couldn't believe how cheap it was, saying that over there it would be almost double that price due to taxation. This was way back around 2008/9.edit:
