If that were remotely true then the UK wouldn't be in the midst of an energy crisis replete with regional blackouts in winter.Gaslit twaddle to keep the masses in check!
n.b. Your selective editing of the estimated figures presented by the RAC in order to make them fit your agenda is reprehensible.

Switching all cars to electric would only be a problem if it happened overnight, which will obviously not be the case.

Such wonderful words in those documents.
'... founded TVR in 1947, the same year as Ferrari.' - Yes, very similar success stories.
'... full electric powertrains will be available before 2030.'
'... products at differing price points are currently under strategic evalualon.' - When the Emira was announced, we thought our Griffith price was, after thorough strategic evaluation, ridiculous.
If the documents had been published at the time of the Goodwood launch, we would have believed everything. Four years later though, it just gets filed on the comedy shelf. Such a shame.

Yeah I bet TVR have firm contractual commitments with Ford for the supply of EV power trains. I suspect they have bought 1 engine from Ford so far.

It is also not growing by the rates you suggest. There are also lots of other reasons besides demand why there are outages and local capacity problems.

Were enough power being generated. then it is a simple matter to direct said energy to meet demand..
End of story.
It has sod all to do with TVR anyway; the fiasco will fold long before that point.

We need Jeremy Corbyn, Vladimir Putin and Michael Foot in charge. Proven strict central control and 5 year agricultural plans.
People enjoy being led by Kim Jong-un. Clamp down on western freedoms some say, but owners of old TVRs should still be allowed to use and maintain them, even though they will all be owned by the state. The owner of the new TVR Griffith, will be taken to the gulag and interrogated by Jack Regan.

Must not happen. We're too close to Volume 3 !
Exactly! I've spent hours posting on here to keep this thread alive so you lot talking about politics can shove right off. At the Stamford car show yesterday James Agger was there with his show stand and a Tuscan, 4.3 BV Griff (the new car's daddy) and a pale silver blue Cerb, all for sale. By lunchtime he'd sold the Cerb so there was a lot of jollity from his team.
There we are, back on topic.

Here, here.
How despicable to be emitting hot air on this hallowed topic.
What we want to know, is has Mr Edgar been working hard today on his TVR revival project ?
It may be a bank holiday, but there is no time for slacking, when he has deadlines to meet and targets to achieve.

I’ve been mainly in Normandy this past week. The only remotely interesting car that I’ve seen here is a 996 Boxater.
The rural Frenchie doesn’t seem to have any interest in cars apart from diesel hatches.
The chances of spotting a TVR must be zero!

He might have been on the golf course or running the hotel or serving in the pub or milking the coos on the farm. He definitely has no time for slacking. It may be a bank holiday, but there is no time for slacking, when he has deadlines to meet and targets to achieve.
