No but they’ve got that istream thing. Once that’s switched on, the car builds itself. Designed by Gordon Murray. Watch this space! Helicopter rides for anyone that agrees. Just contact whatshername in the office.
Stop offering up that chopper will you hehe

IMO, TVR need to swallow their pride, forget their grand ideas of having their own factory, and just get some cars built. Use one of the already existing industry specialists (CPP, Multimatic, etc) to build an initial batch of say 50 completely hand build cars, to get the press into these cars and a handful of lead customers. If they don't do this, they have missed the boat imo........
The problem is 4/5 years after launch their car will be dated. And at this rate it won’t arrive until 4/5 years after launch.

I do wish them well, but I got my deposit back as they stopped communicating and the delays mounted.

Fingers crossed but I do worry.

Was there an announcement at the end of March from the new guy? His own Facebook ego massaging made me unlike the TVR page unfortunately.

They’ve even managed to double post on their Facebook page... and using the most awesome of TVRs which has nothing to do with them.

Their digital presence is hopeless

The new guy has slipped seamlessly into the TVR PR role model. No announcement. frown

guess you can 'better' make a 'new' old TVR for around 50k to 60k

choose the sort of your liking, say from Vixen to T350 and bring that to a good TVR shop that can make that TVR very special complete to your liking, unique.

say in case of a old Vixen, which shares the same? wheelbase as the more modern TVR say Griff Chimaera, put such rolling chassis from say sportmotive the Evolution Chassis with LS3-580 or LS7 engine etc, than drop that say Vixen type or M-series type chassis on that, new interior etc etc in it and you have a great fast with good more modern platform. (yes thats possible)

looks like big fun to me, great classic TVR looks.

Or go more modern like some already done, T350 or Tuscan or Tamora etc, give it a big overhaul with LS3+ engine conversion/springs/bushings etc etc and new interior special made, so that it looks like a new TVR, ready for tomorrows fast cars :-)

There are plenty of enthusiasts that post here and wish the company a prosperous future, some of these posters have given the company a deposit, the company has a duty to keep deposit holders up to date about its plans
Surely the company knows that people wont keep waiting
I don't understand why this is happening but do feel that the company doesn't want people to understand the reasons for such a long delay

In this case, silence is not golden

Sad to see there is no further news or progress on the new car.

Still, at least I have the joy of my other TVR...

First time I’ve commented on this but I really do hope the new TVR is built. Doesn’t affect me as I’m not keen on the new one nor can I afford one.

I much prefer the original versions and keeping the established suppliers/experts in business with never ending restoration.

Pics for the hell of it. (Oh and I’m up north) hehe

Ha no offence taken. There's nothing subtle about a TVR Tuscan so may as well have a loud colour to go with the loud car lol
