Team Central - Birmingham / Service History Hunt!
Discussion
Am trying to get a more complete service history about my Griff 500.
I have between Feb 1996 and March 1998. The trail then goes cold.
The car was previously owned by chap in Aberdeen. He bought the car in 2006, and didn’t use it much. The last entry in the service book is for a service done in March 1998 by “Team Central” in Birmingham. The next record of a service is in 2006, but not sure where (I don't have the invoice).
I am not overly fussed as John Earles rebuilt the engine, but it would be nice if I could have a complete history.
Does anyone know if Team Central still exist? If not, has anyone managed to get paperwork for their car from this company or another source?
Alternatively, were any of you chaps a previous owner or know one?
TIA

Team Central was the major TVR dealer in Birmingham, based in Perry Bar and owned by Clive Greenhalgh, Adrian Windridge was service manager. In about 1998 Clive sold up and moved to Spain and the company was sold to David Holmes. When they went bust in 2000 a client bought the business and traded as Team Proactive whilst Adrian started to get his own business ready, Central TVR - owned by Adrian, opened in about 2001/2 in Stourbridge and was there until last month when they moved to Kingswinford following a fire
I suspect there isn't any documentation, but Adrian may remember the car!
