Old negs found from TVR Factory visit 1990

My mid 1991 reg S3C has the side vents in the bonnet and driving lights, etc. so unless it has been replaced at some time they were available then. I see there is a Mica Ruby one in one piccy whicvh looks to have the later bonnet so is it mine? March build for a bit later reg is possible ... I'll never know!!

My 1991 S3c also has side vents as does doddze's old blue S3c (which I think is still owned by a PHer.

IIRC... the S4 was effectively based on the chassis from the V8S which was modified from the S3/S3C chassis. The engine in the S4 and the S3C were the same.

I think that the exhaust downpipes on the S4 were also rerouted which avoiding the problem of grounding out the exhaust when driving over anything higher that a leaf!

These pics remind me of a visit to the factory in 1991 after my dad's 400SE had been involved in a heavy shunt and had to go back on the original chassis jigs at the factory to be straightened as part of the repair.

Sorry but this is each and every picture taken on that trip

I have already sent them to Richard Sails the Archivist
and am also looking at doing a piece to go in Sprint
re the Wedges with the help of Wedgemeister Steve "Gandalf" Davis.

If anyone wants them for anything else they are quite welcome
