Does everyone latch on your tail?
Discussion
Just wondering really, I had everything from an m5 to a smoky old Leon up my backside for a while today, I wasn't hooning it majorly or trying to entice anyone to a bit of fun, but recently everybody seems to want to test there euro box against me!
So, is it just me or is this a regular occurrence for any TVR?

M5 guy is the first person to keep pace with me really, i think it was a fair bit quicker than the old 450. Aside from that, what do these clowns in old crap cars expect? Or is it that the mighty TVR has fallen so far from public knowledge that the newer kids don't know what they're looking at?

It ain't just when driving the TVR. There is a culture these days of having to be in front. You could be doing 120mph and still have some tt wanting to overtake or push you out of the way. Will take heat on this no doubt, but 65% of the time its an idiot in an Audi.
Excellent stat that mate, unfortunately 93% of statistics are made up I'll take heat for this but an M5 would put paid to a Chim 95% of the time I get it a lot driving my little ole 350i Wedge...Its usually BMW's in my case..The latest was a couple of days ago...Some tosspot in a blue series 1 with a turbo fitted was literally on my bumper, When i slowed down and waved him passed he flashed me..I lost him on a busy roundabout but his determination caught me up again..It was like a fly buzzing around my head while I'm trying to take a dump..Really fking annoying!..Eventually he pulled up next to me at a mini roundabout so i starred him out and eventually he put his thumb up?..I said to him..."Are you taking the piss mate..This is a 27 year old classic car..Do you expect me to drive it like a like you do yours"...He just wheel spinned off..If your reading this...Your a cock!.....Ziga

I've had no hope cars driving up my chuff, but I think it's 'cause they don't know what it is & are driving REAL close so they can read the name plate... and are there for ages trying to pronounce Chimaera :-)

You hit the nail on the head,i had two Irish Cops up my ass for about 2 miles one day, pulling right up on my bumper and then pulling back,it was actually getting quite dangerous.i quessed they were trying to read the badge, eventually the brain cell in the passenger picked up the radio and i could see him mouthing my reg. into the radio to check it through the computer. As the old saying goes, they lure them out of the kerry hills with hunks of raw meat....Mark

HAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHABless.
Even the latest M5 is only as fast as an old chim, which means it's all down to the driver.
A well sorted later TVR, with a good driver would just leave it behind, as seen on many a track day. They ar efun, everyday performance cars, but lets not get carried away eh.
I had a bmw stick on my tail on the dual carriageway the other weekend. Came up rapidly and sat in the outside lane almost level with my rear quarter. I wasn't playing, just cruising gently at the speed limit. He sat there for some miles before flooring it over the next roundabout.
Unmarked BMW, trying to goad me, just around the corner from a police college? I dont think so...

Read what was written and try to understand what was going on before you start trying to patronise me numbnuts, let's hope you understand that
Just to help you I was suggesting statistics were made up, I then threw a statistic in myself. See what I did there? Nope you obviously didn't you were too keen to trot out an extremely boring made up story.
