EDIS and Coil under bonnet.... but where?
Discussion
I had the pleasure to receive my Megajolt kit yesterday evening.
But was rather surprised it comes in kit
Didn't know I was shopping at IKEA.
Now, I have to build the loom and decide where to put the various components in the engine bay.
Soooooo, wanted to know what the collective thoughts on that is?
Where did you install your EDIS module and how did you fix it and what about the coils? Where do they fit?
Thanks for posting any picture with your explanations.
And where did I put my soldering iron now?

Thank you all for your help but I have all the necessary brackets at hand.
What I am after is really the physical location of the EDIS module under the bonnet.
I thought about having it attached to the coil bracket but this is directly behind the Y piece.
Isn't the module sensible to heat?

But the assembly manual calls for the shortest possible loom between the speed sensor, the EDIS and the coils...
Surely, having the EDIS in the passenger footwell does nothing for reducing the size of the loom (the loom isn't really long anyway on a Tiv).
Does the element fear heat? Can I fix it on the body, close to the AFM, behind the inlet duct?
Or is there any better location under bonnet?
I can't imagine nobody having another opinion on the subject......
