diagnostic software tvr speed six options

After 15 years my Toshiba windows 98 laptop died. With the old software resetting was easy. Now I have to buy a windows 8.1 or windows 10 old laptop to do the same.

I can.t use the old software anymore because it is used till windows XP
The latest software of EvoOlli is stopped by my Anti Virus of my desktop 8.1 ( It has a 9 pins com port)

The app of the android version of the RSiAJP is not active

What are the Options now?

Used a Windows 10 notebook download the 0.97 version. Put the Plugable rs232 to USB in the notebook. selected the COM port (5)
Used a Sagaris mouse (!?)

Ignition on, pump is running. Zero!

Just part of the screen is filled. Buy a stronger Windows 10 laptop?

Thanks for the support. Ordered the Sabrent RS232 cable by Amazon.
Try to fix it after i got the Cable. It is the chip in the Cable that is important?

I have the 3 wire connector (Tuscan 2001) The old windows 98 started to stop the pg up and down button. Time for a more modern Solution.

I.m not sure that the light Asus notebook is the best start. Perhaps I need a old good working Laptop with Windows 10

In short, my Asus Windows 10 notebook 64 bits is wrong, i have to convert this to 32 bits. Or buy an other one with Windows 10 with 32 bits The right Sebrent rs232 USB cable, selecting port 1 or 2 and it must be running?

the first used Plugabel cable has the pl2303HX chip inside. Should be wrong.
Ordered the Sabrent cable by the link.Model CB 9 P6F
Received from Amazon the CB-DB-9P. ( same model ?)

Still no contact by this cable. Can.t find info that the CB-DB9P has the wanted PL2303RA chip inside.

it seems that your CB-9P6F is not the same Family as mine. I don.t know what chip is inside the CB-DB9P but it could be again the wrong Cable. grrrrr

Do I need the specific download for the CB-9P6F to make the cable
talking with the ECU and the software? Also for the TVR software with the USB connection?

checked the cablles. The Plugable has the HXD chipset, the Sabrent CB-DB9P has the RA chipset

it works now with the RA chip on my Windows 10 notebook (evoollie software) but only a small part of the screen. How can i get a full screen? I bought a 32 bits old Vista laptop. Try to install the TVR version also.
