Ive had a week off and I must say I missed you all...

......Everything was just peachy until I popped into Nottingham for the afternoon.....

.....I had parked just opposite StarbucksIllegally, but safely) up a side street....I returned to find the wing mirror all fu@@ed up!!.... Fortunately the girlfriend was in the car at the time and took his registration number..
She told me the guy had just laughed as he scrapped by my Griff and then drove off....

.......I wasn’t a happy bunny and nipped into the Police station in West Bridgeford on the way back (after much inciting by the GFriend)....the Police were more than helpful and after giving my details the police officer contacted the driver...who was angry that the police had got involved and said my girlfriend has given him the thumbs up as he scrapped on by...hummm...

...The police officer said that it wouldn’t be worth pressing charges, but that I should claim off his insurance (hes having to come from afar to hand in his details)...and leave it at that..

..Now the question is....was I wrong to “dob” him in…?
(I would have been fine if he had stopped to apologise...but laughing and driving off really boiled me!)

I would like to know how he thinks your GF giving him the thumbs up (which I doubt) actually gave him the right to damage your property.

....She apparently mimed "Your Scratching the fuc@@ng car!!"....and I think my anger all boils down to him laughing...

......I should be getting his insurance details soon..
is it really worth me claiming through his insurance...
....it’s just that he's been shook up by the police and im not really after his blood or his no claims?..( ps. im not a wimp...)

(yeah you were right on the location raceboy...)

Isn't Nottingham the fourth most violent place in England?

We're working on getting into the medals
Most of the violence here in Notting-gun, is drug dealer on drug dealer so not really too much to worry about unless you carear path leads that way

i happened to catch that programme...violence in Nottingham....thought the the boxer hitting the mother in law (teeth flying) was a wonderful advert for promoting Nottingham's nightlife...

....oh by the way...i love nottingham...the "mime-artist" of a girlfriend has just moved to West Bridgeford...somewhere safe to leave my Griff..
......im up for a pint if anyones in the area
...i dont bite..

I'd give him the option to pay for the damage, plus a slight increase for a small front end spray (we all need one of those!). It will save you involving your insurance, which never helps, and he can make amends.

Well, if he's prepared to pay for it privately then there is no need to go after an insurance payout. However, can you be sure he will pay out after this? You might end up taking him to small claims court. Just make sure you don't you pay for him being an

i doubt he'd pay privately....and the more i think about it..the more i want to clean him out...

......and the earlier remark about me being illegally parked was mentioned to the police...and they didnt see a problem, as long as it didnt go to court...

.......will i suffer from claiming from his insurance?
