Gave Peart Associates a call as they advertise on Pistonheads. They came up with a very competitive quote with a Lloyds name company called HIGHWAY. Has anyone had any dealings with them and if so how do you think they compare to the big boys like Norwich Union etc., as I haven''t heard of them before.

Thanks for the info, ended up going with Sunninghill best quote by far and as stated the chance of doing Track days within Europe was an added bonus. Mmmmm Nuerburgring sounds nice...

In my case Direct Line quoted £1,135 with £375 excess. Sunninghill came up with a Royal Sun Alliance policy GBP 875 with a £500 excess, but could have gone for £988 with £250 excess. Didn't mind the higher excess as this only applies to motoring accident, if theft or vandalised only £100 excess. All qoutes with NCB protected. Also maybe minor point but have the family run-about insured with Direct line. My wife managed to prang it and needed new door and respray. Direct line decide the workshop without you having a say and went to collect the car on Saturday only to find the paint finish cloudy an d patchy (thats just on plain old silver metalic). Now would not trust them to find a decent paint shop for my Rosso Pearl finsih.
