Hi guys,
Goodwood aerodrome are having a vintage flying day on the 30th July, All sorts of pre 1960 aircraft will be flying in and out of Goodwood during the day. As some of you know there is a small cafe right by the aerodrome, so I thought it would be nice to sit out in the rain and have our breakfast.

Meet up at Old Barn Nursery at 7.15 am for a 7.30 departure, and as a special treat for all you lovely peaple I've included the Southwick tunnel for the run down.

Please note that breakfast can be a bit slow coming, and they would like to know numbers, I've provisionly booked 20 places.

Maybe derek do you want to meet up enroute somewhere

Hi Tony,
as you're in Worthing, how about we meet you somewhere near the A24/A27 roundabout, or maybe Findon Valley?
Looks like Jason's gonna join us if he gets his Tamora back.
The meet's at 9a.m. but I feel that that TVR's deserve an appreciative audience, so how 'bout we meet at 8.45 and we should get there just after 9.

Hey, and looks like a gorgeous morning.

Hey, somebody's gotta keep the economy going.
But I did have a great blat a couple of hours ago, came across an old 944 porker to play with, got bored though, fed up waiting for him to catch up

Have a good one at the BBWF.

Hi guys,
The post code for the Old Barn Nursery is RH13 8NR.

Just to re-cap the run to Goodwood will take us about an hour, maybe slightly more if we hit traffic. As you can probobly work out, we're not just driving straight there.
A few twisty bits, a few straight bits and a tunnel, oh, and an opportunity to wake some sleepy villagers
Breakfast is available at the Aero cafe at Goodwood.
There will be directions given out in the morning, but we should be able to keep in convoy.

Hope it's a dry one.

Hi guys,
great run out, nice to find plenty of open roads in front of us, and not to many numpties!!
Pleased we managed to keep in convoy (the exception being the somewhat bewildered beamer driver, who couldn't grasp the TVR/tunnel concept).

Hope you all got home o.k.

See you on the next one.

Derek & Gail.

P.S. The picture of the Hurricane has got to be a first for Piston heads, well done.

Went on this London Tunnel run thingy and guess who, out of 60 or 70 cars, was first to get his collar felt by plod?

There you go, see what happens when you boys go out to play without supervision.
Did you get a ticket or just a stiff talking to?

We had a really good run, with very very nice people, and no speeding tickets cos we're good boys and always stick to the speed limits

Hopefully see you on the Fountain run that Alex is organising.

Glad everybody enjoyed the morning, put your names down for the 27th August, looks like it's gonna be a good 'un.

Cheers

Derek
