I am trying to get a definitive answer regarding the actual colour of my Griff - I've already been told 3 different names - the Body Code is P4 22 TF8-9 - does this provide a clue? Anyone know? And anyone know where I can get a small tin of touch up paint?

Dave, you don't seem to have a pic in your profile. Check out my profile. My car is also supposed to be Rosso Red - is ot the same?

Ian,

Not sure how to put a pic in the profile (erm! thick or what?). If you get Sprint it was on a double page spread of Morgan's Mutterings in May.

Does look very similar although mine is possibly brighter (hence Mrs. M says it's vulgar!!)

Thanks to Big Al for the link to an older posting and to Ewelme Coachworks (www.tvrbodyrepairs.com) I now appear to have a match. My coding was wrong - it wasn't T8-9 at the end but T8-B - possibly hence the thought it could be Barbie Pink!! I think my engine area needs cleaning!!

According to Ewelme it is Honda R77, which is Formula Red.

I know you have all been waiting with baited breath for this info, so there you have it. Oh! And they said it wasn't a perfect match - just 95%

Thanks for all who helped - now got to get me a jug of touch up and we're away............

OK Big Al & JIGS - here's the story:

My full name is David Lloyd Morgan - and I'm not Welsh!!! Or at least I've traced the old family tree back to 1741 and we are on the Welsh border (but the English side).

We actually come from a long line of b*st*rds - honest - is says so in the Parish register! My Great (to the power of 6 or 7) Grandfather was one John Morgan, b*st*rd son of Elizabeth. My bet is that poor old Lizzy got herself up the spout and was sent to relatives across the border to have the kiddie. So I'm not really a Morgan at all!! I think we either descend from the King of England (Who was on the throne in 1741? - actually, I was at 17.41 last night come to think of it - better place to be than in front of EastEnders! ) or a travelling salesman!! You decide!!

As for the match - I reckon I have a 95% match with my missus and she seems happy with that!

Maybe this is a good topic for a future Morgan's Mutterings??
