Best fun you can have with your closes on.

Still a new class lap record and only 1/2 sec / lap off the 450bhp Griff!

Nice video. It was a pretty tough squeeze on you out of the hairpin by the Yellow MG. That outside line can work well as it puts you on the inside into GHB. Spun at the hairpin last year which nearly ruined my day!

Good skills - spin into Druids! Yep it was had - but I had done it to him the lap b4, he is a hard Bastard but fair. Usually always wins. Think the Blue TVR was a wake up (annoys me that someone can just rock up and get that car and blizt everyone just on grunt) - shit on the striaght it made even that 370bhp RV8 look slow and he normally can duff up all comer (including Gerry Marshall!), fast in a 4 cyl MGB and MGA (Griff quick round Thrux!).

Roll on Donnington next weekend. What series is that? And how doe you get that moving pic into the thread?

I took my eye off the corner as the white Mini had done a bit of a do or die up the inside. Too busy watching him to notice that I was about to go very sideways.

I'm in the post historic (Pre 74) Classic Touring Car Series. That was last years SEMSEC meeting at Brands. Somewhere in the region of 30,000 spectators which seems surreal for a club race.

Someone did the pic for me. Its a gif file. It works by joining the original still shots together, on this occasion, kindly taken by a marshall who forwarded them on to me!

Cool wide on the entry - if no one close behind and rid the curn HARD on the exist to stop running out wide. But if a busy field almost impossible to take that line!

Checked - can't do it on my P10 Sony. Car now bugger - cos of some idot T-boning me in practice - in a totally avoidable accident - the guy is total fool that should not be anywhere near a race track and if I have anything to do with it won't be.....

nothing like this one then - www.yourdailymedia.com/media/1137069559/Race_Car_Crash

Where were the reactions then! - hope the racer is back soon. I'm in UK weekend of 27th and was looking forward to getting to a meet..... I'll probably hit TSSC crew down at Brands ( I hope I read the calender right! ). I'm stripping the Spit for next season at the moment.

Hope it is fixed for the Thoroughbreds for that meeting.

yep JUST LIKE THAT - only slower - me being the car hit side on but not stationary - I was crossing the track after going off on grass and the fool that could easily have not hit me (could see what was happeneing and trhet ai would fly across track infront of him - had 400m to think!) just did not slow down, brake, do anything - a Complete Cretin.

Hope to see you over there then. I'm afraid to get too close to the all out racers as I'll never be able to keep mine to the lower class while I pick up experience..... can't wait to hit the track though, getting bored of the karting. Best of luck with the spanner work.

Sorry to hear about the 4 John. Some people seem to drive like they are only bothered at the 12 feet of track in front of them.

Will miss next at Snett in 2 weeks but be at Brands (again - I love the place - just so bloody expensive per lap / race distance compared to other places) - will try to win the TR class next time (for that is what the class C now seems to be - we have scared off the Healy 3000's - no chance!)

Oh bugger indeed . . . but then: that's all racing.

Love to hear and see those beasties live . . . are you racing in UK only?
