Well having sold my 1998 TVR Cerbera 4.5, I am about to embark on the next motoring experience of buying the old mans TR2 Long Door.

I cannot think at this time that it will be anything but "different" but am looking forward to seeing the reaction from friends and colleagues who have endured me batting on about 0-60 times of sub 4 seconds and 180+ top speeds for the past 2.5 years!

I am not entirely new to Triumph motoring having owned a 1500 Spitfire with overdrive for many years, and prompting my dad into a GT6, then TR6 then a basket case of a 2.

So looking forward to conversing with you all on a regular basis.

Take care all

Jon

Thanks for the replies chaps

Your right the sheer speed of the Cerb is certainly addictive, however having seen the old man loose most of the skin on his knuckles rebuilding it the TR I just could not let him sell it on!! Daft I know.

There is another benefit in that the "rev limiter" wont go off so often in a 2 and that will be a blessing.

What she does not realise however is that I am thinking of maybe, twin 40's, more rorty exhaust and ,to be safe, uprating the brakes and suspension - but very much in character with the thing.

Any suggestions on tuners/fettlers in the Hampshire area?

Cheers

Jon
