Cheap nasty tyres spotted

I couldn’t help myself but take a look. £46.65 inc. VAT from Camskill. I suppose the prospective owner should be thankful they didn’t opt for a pair of Aptany RA301’s for £44.15 instead.
But a previous observer is quite correct that it is fitted with with Bridgestone Potenza’s on the rear. I’d go so far as to say this represents seriously questionable judgement in relation to corporate responsibility.
Though I must say I find it rather ironic that this is from the same dealer that can’t help but pump YouTube full of videos about how they know more about Supercar maintenance than anybody else……..

Just bought a lovely FFRR Autobiography (2016) which was specced from new with 22" wheels. Beautiful thing, unmarked, full LRSH sitting on 'Churchill' tyres. Which my tyre place tell me used to be called Jingho from China.
Why? Just why?
Payday will see them replaced.
Although, the road noise and grip isn't awful

You've just bought an FFRR and you need to wait until you're paid to replace the tyres? I think you may have bought the wrong car. Why? Just why?

Interesting point about insurance.
I've heard they can get uppity about winter tyres.
It's headbangingly frustrating that you have to inform them that you're fitting a set of Michelin Alpin's but a set of the cheapest summer ditchfinders worn down to 1.6mm in January is fine.
I don’t bother with the telling insurers about winter tyres anymore. They’re tyres. They’re the right size and speed rating. They’re legal to use. I've heard they can get uppity about winter tyres.

Those videos are hilarious “my client took it to Lamborghini and they said £10m, but he came to me and all he needed to do was pull this cable here and I did it for free” But a previous observer is quite correct that it is fitted with with Bridgestone Potenza’s on the rear.
