'Eccentric bushes' - Any experience?

I've had these recommended to me by an alignment specialist to help cure a chronic pull to the left I have in my focus. It's been established that the offside front camber is too high in relation to the near side and there's nothing that can be done about moving subframe etc.

Apparently these bushes fit in the lower front control arms, curing the camber offset. Anyone got any experience of their effectiveness?

I want to find out and fix whatever is bent in the front suspension rather than trying to bodge the problem with eccentric bushes.

The guy reckons it could be a hub carrier that's slightly bent? Nothing obvious though

Doubt it as the hub carriers are seriously well built.

To be honest if something as easy as an eccentric bush will get everything in spec I'd just do that - used them in other applications and they're very useful.

Have you had a control arm replaced recently?
Some pattern parts are way off OE spec and that can cause issues. Difference in camber probably isn't the problem, whereas a variance in caster or SAI would cause a pull.
