Do pads wear at the same rate as disks?
Discussion
Got to admit I am a complete noob in these things.
My assumption would be that pads would wear at a far faster rate than disks, however I took my Yaris in for it's 60 000 mile service and they say both need doing. I'm rather surprised the pads lasted that long to be honest but I would have thought the discs would have lasted longer.
Given new pads and discs do you think they will ask me to bed them in ? Or is it not needed nowadays.
