EBC discs warping

Hi all,
My first posting on here.
I changed all the discs on my Chimaera 450 some years ago for EBC non-grooved discs after I started to get steering judder under braking indicating warped front discs. Not sure what the original discs were.
I now have the same problem. Any ideas what can cause a disc to warp like this ? No noticeable deposits or damage to the discs. Are EBC discs just poor or do I have a caliper problem. Noted that the last set of pads had worn at outer edges more than inner edges. Calipers are standard TVR naff single-pots.
Braking is not great at best of times (i.e. pre-disc warp). If I jab the brake pedal quickly then release not a lot happens. Hard braking only achieved by constant hard pressure. Fluid changed, no effect. Pads are Greenstuff.
