What do I need to start cleaning my car properly?
Discussion
I always do seasonal work so now its about getting the paintwork to a state that's acceptable to apply a protection.
You will need to polish after clay baring check out Jon's video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3-iTYjCkl8
Wax is a bit old school for me but used to use this years ago, ceramics not worth it on my loveable shed but I use a Solvent based sealant (Fusso99).
Over winter it will start to get towards diminishing returns if you constantly clean (IMHO) so protection and then rinse downs with a PH neutral snow foam and clean I find the better option if im really low on meetings on a Friday afternoon

Hose pipe / sponge to rinse off the dirt
AutoGlym car shampoo all over
Hose pipe to rinse
Ryobi battery leaf blower to dry
Takes less than 30 mins & looks ace!
Not sure about the sponge bit.AutoGlym car shampoo all over

My current car is 9 years old, not a mark on it.
Used the same method on wife’s new car too.
The battery leaf blower has been a revelation
Some funny looks from the neighbours!
