I'm a total n00b when it comes to this sort of thing so can someone explain the whole detailing thing to me. What products would be best to use etc?

I've read a few threads but to be honest i'm none the wiser, I basically need an idiots guide!

From what i've read it seems its best to snow foam, wash the wheels, shampoo, wax (every few months) and clean the glass. Using the 2 bucket method with microfibre towels and wash mitts.

Sorry, as I said earlier a total n00b. Does the above seem good enough?

Just finally, do you mean I should use the Bilt Hamber and then shampoo and wax?
