Freshening up my interior

Hi all,

I'm looking for advice on how to freshen up the interior of my car, specifically I want to make it smell nice but I don't want a tree hanging from my mirror.

Any ideas? I was thinking leather conditioner on the seats and an aircon re-gas but thought I'd ask the experts.

Thanks for the help everyone. I'l see how I get on this weekend. Good tip on changing the Air Filter, I wonder if that's the issue as the car does smell a bit stale, my kid says it makes him feel ill.
