Hello guys, I'm after a bit of advice surrounding a good wax to use. Has anybody any experience of using the Autoglym Aqua car wax? The reason I ask is because I am a fan of Autoglym products and at the moment Halfords are selling 3 Autoglym products for the price of two across the range.

Any help is appreciated

Dodo juice seems to be a popular choice. I'll try that out and let you know the results... Furthering my original question can anybody recommend a good place to buy applicator pads or similar items to apply polish and wax that doesn't mark the paintwork in any way?

Thanks

Thanks for the replies guys. The Autoglym HD wax seems to be getting a few more votes now so I'm swaying again between the Dodo Juice and HD wax.

My paintwork is 17 years old now and whilst not perfect it is in very good condition for its age. Obviously with the old stone chip on the bonnet and not quite the original fresh from the factory deep shine but I try to keep on top of it. Has anybody any experience with either Dodo Juice or Autoglym HD wax that can advise on the best for my car?

Thanks againsmile

Ok I understand. I polished my car just the other day after giving it a thorough wash and did find that the I got through a lot of polishing cloths because after applying the polish the cloth was getting very dirty. This was especially so on the lower panels. Although I did make sure to only apply polish with a clean part of the cloth, hence why I used so many!

Thanks again guys for the pointers! Any other hints and tips you may have please feel free to sharesmile

Have you got a jet wash?
No sir, I thought jet washing a car can cause damage to the paintwork?...
