baking paint?

I've sprayed a small plastic part & the finish has come out great. I've left it in the airing cupboard all night but had the (silly?) idea of baking it in the oven. Is this a silly idea or would it help the paint harden fully quickly? Say 50 degrees? I know body shops use heat lamps but do they work by UV or is it just heat? Thanks for any tips.

Thanks, the paint was just a Ford aerosol, i just want to get the paint rock hard
