Glue for badges

I have just ripped the badge off the back of my wifes car whilst washing it. It appeared to have been held on with a "rubbery" silicone type adhesive. What is the correct product for glueing the badge back on?

Excellent, thanks. I had some Loctite in the shed that did the job well.
