The thing I found most disturbing in driving habits between here and in the UK is that we are pedestrian aware and STOP to let people walk across pedestrian crossings where you lot use them as shooting galleries
That's only because over here the pedestrians are oblivious to cars and keep walking - the kerb is nothing but a mere inconvenience, a slight change of gradient on their path. I'm sure the NSW Police can book you for beeping at a pedestrian. I find it bizarre that the same people drive, yet are so inconsiderate to drivers. Whatever.
[quote]I'm driving to Canberra next weekend for a vortex meet/german autofest, 1600 miles there and back. If I'm still posting after I made it.[quote]
Bugger me that was a drive (left FRiday morn 5.30 back sunday night 8.30). Still next year I'm taking more time off and doing mount panorama aswell. Now time to book a Radical day for when I get over to the UK me thinks
