Help buying new car in OZ

My wife is currently visiting her family in Queensland, and one of the jobs is to sort out a new car for my mother in law. Bit confused as to the way pricing works there, and what extra is charged on top of the car price to get to a Drive Away price.
Basically, they are looking at a Hyundai i30 SLX, metallic paint but no other extras, cost according to the Hyundai website should be about $25,000, but by the time the dealer had finished, the drive away price was nearer $30,000. He was asked for a price breakdown, but what was given is so vague that it is useless.
Does this sound right?
