I had one of those for about six years, a Bentley MKVI, I wish I had never parted with it, lovely, lovely cars, and they go very well, can keep up with and leave behind a fair few moderns. That's one of the later models with the big bore 4.5 litre engine. My dream Bentley is a standard steel MKVI, just like that, but with a 4.9 S1 engine, triple carbs, and a high ratio R type Continental back axle.

I've enjoyed watching this thread grow, never thought we'd see 10,000 posts. Some fabulous vehicles have been shared. I'm glad I started it all those years ago...
Keep spotting!
Good to hear from you OP!Keep spotting!
Something I was wondering about though:
Whilst I appreciate that this is not your own personal thread to Police as you see fit, and that different people have different opinions on what is a cool classic car, do you personally feel that clearly neglected, clapped out old Peugeot 205's, 2CV's, Nissan Micra's and such like are really what you wanted to see in this thread?
The reason for asking is that when you started this thread all those years ago, you must have had some sort of idea as to the sort of cars you wanted it to be about, and some of the cars that get posted here seem to be put in purely because they are old rather than having any resemblance of being cool.
Had it been a simple: OLD/CLASSIC CAR SPOTTERS POST!!!, then it wouldn't matter at all, but you did indicate that you wanted to see "cool classic cars" and I was wondering what your opinion was.
I'd rather see Stags and Stangs that 205's and a K reg Micra, but it doesn't really take that long to scroll past a post full of rusty dross. It just makes me more eager to get to a post that may have a Citroen SM or a Merc Pagoda on it.

I can almost give you a 230SL 'Pagoda', except it doesn't have the Pagoda part. It was seen today near Bromley.CAPP0 said:

I'm sure I recognise the reg on this car - is it well known, or belongs to Fiat, or something like that?
