My dad had a Strada 75CL in that light blue colour, it was preceded by a Strada 65CL in a puke green colour....never had any trouble finding the latter in a car park. Both were pretty reliable and coped well with summer trips around Europe (2.5k miles in two weeks).
We he changed the 75 I hoped he would get a 105TC, alas my hopes were dashed, he bought a Mark 4 Escort... :-(
If anyone can find a copy of the Daily Telegraph from May 5 1975 onwards, you will see a publicity photo of a small Fiat 126/7/8 model, in which there is me and the future Mrs Fox
They were doing a shot at the Flask Highgate, and i suggested to the photographer that fro an appearance 'fee' we would do a crowd scene. Onr free round alter and they used that instead of the model!! appeared in several papers
It is a long shot even for the PH family, but you never know

50s and 60s Lancias: unloved for so long and now attaining their correct place in both desirability and value. Easily as pretty as many of the Ferraris from the same period (not surprising as the same designers).
They were such cool/well engineered cars for that time. Any more from Alfa/Lancia/Fiat?rallycross said:

Stretching the thread title a little with these period magazine covers, but I suppose they come under 'advertising', can't think where else to post them really....
Alfa staff magazine from 1960...

Thanks, some great memories of the Italians. Reminded me of my Fulvia. A bit blinged-up but then I was in my 20s!
I had one that colour - without the gold stripe - from 1985 until 1990. Wonderful car with superb balance but as expected rust was an issue along with driveshafts. I’d still love another but at the same time I’m afraid of the running issues and it being worse than I remember. Bloody hell 28 years ago now. I can still remember buying it at Tewkesbury auctions from the auctioneer who hadn’t come to work with the idea of selling it but when we saw it we found out who owned it and made an offer. TDM 50R. Probably long since dead.
