Not sure you'd want it - despite looking OK from a distance it was as rough as with the tell-tale front wheel arch crown splits of doom
Oh dear, hence the trailer, doubles the value.
The trailer is also having a wheel arch crisis in sympathy!
The trailer's got about £60 worth of wheeltrims (assuming they're fitted to the other side as well).

In Olhao southern Portugal. The Mercedes has been abandoned in the corner of the fire station yard for at least two years

Not sure when OP took this picture, but it must be fairly recent - no sign of the car in earlier years (trees were really small).

While we're at it. Admittedly this has now moved, but it's still been 'off the road' since Jan 2022.

Indeed..It is rotting, and at least a future classic. Admittedly I'd not have posted were it not for the other R129. Original content though, unlike the countless re-posts from elsewhere. Yes I know some appreciate those

This might be more fitting:

Another controversial one with some, I'm sure.

Within a few days of its 6th anniversary without an MOT.

Fabulous looking things but seem to garner no love whatsoever!

Agreed.

There has been a thread on here recently discussing prices. Like many cars of the past there's not much of a following or appeal, it's still all about the Supra - But those examples out there now are usually very tidy with enthusiast owners. One drove past me a few months ago and it looked great, very low and wide in comparison to the surrounding vehicles. 20 years ago I'd have been thinking something different.

Currently sorned and last MOT expired June 2018.

997.1 Carrera wonder if it suffered from bore scoring piston slap failed engine typical of that gen. £12k to £15k rebuild but still seems strange its been left to rot.

I'm not sure if this qualifies as left to die and rot, but this hasn't moved for a couple of years.

MOT ran out in 2021 - log book was updated in October 2022, so it has either changed hands, or the owner moved.

It appears to be a genuine ST.

Currently on SORN.
